Dear Friends,

Over the past four years it has been my honor to serve you and your family in the North Carolina House. This site is designed to acquaint you with my background, experience and record as your Representative in the 36th District.

Decisions made by the General Assembly have a profound effect on our lives, communities, neighborhoods and families. I have worked hard to be on the job everyday casting the votes to strengthen education, improve health care, promote jobs, protect our families and communities, and see that your hard-earned tax dollars are spent wisely. I am the only State House member with a 100% voting record.

As a member of the House, I have reached across party lines to work on many issues important to the citizens of our district and state. With your support, I will continue to seek solutions that bring people together and move North Carolina forward.
